TMI Coatings recently completed a rehabilitation project for the City of Temple Water Treatment Department. The scope of work included sandblasting and painting water pipes inside of a building and removal and replacement of over 3,000 bolts with new stainless steel bolts. TMI had to complete this sandblasting around sensitive equipment and be ready to put the system back in service in the event of an owner emergency. The project was completed 30 days ahead of schedule, safely and with no damage to the plants sensitive gauges and motors. The job included a full-time third-party inspector as well as an engineering firm overseeing TMI’s work. The project engineer supplied TMI with monthly construction reports that included: quality of work, contractors cooperation with staff, contractors cooperation with the public and contractors timely performance. TMI was rated a 9 on all categories by the engineer.

A large plastic manufacturer contracted TMI Coatings, Inc. (TMI) to restore their steel silos. The silos were experiencing extensive corrosion
