TMI Coatings was contracted by Ecolab a Fortune 500 company that offers water, hygiene and energy technologies to water blast and coat a large steel fence, handrails and stair tower at their world headquarters in St. Paul. TMI took precautions to complete work safely, tie off themselves when working at elevated heights and tying off tools needed to complete the project to reduce the risk of tools falling to the street below. TMI then hand/tool cleaned the surfaces, applied a rust-inhibitive primer and intermediate coat. TMI then top coated with a high solids, surface tolerant high build coating which has excellent UV stability, gloss and color retention.
