Cracked concrete allowed water to penetrate causing the rebar to corrode and water infiltration into the silos. TMI Coatings used diamond grinders and crack chasers to open cracked concrete. All exposed rebar was primed with a rust-inhibitive epoxy primer and cracks were filled with high-strength mortar filler suitable and recommended for vertical applications.
