A marina and yacht club on the St. Croix River hired TMI Coatings to sandblast and paint their rusty structural steel beneath their large pier located over the water.
During the Spring and Summer seasons the river water is higher so to maximize the amount of exposed structural steel the project was completed during the winter months. TMI crew contained each side of the pier while sandblasting to collect the dust and paint chips. TMI then applied two full coats of a low temperature paint capable of curing down to 0 degrees F.
