TMI Paints Mill Stairwell

This spring, TMI Coatings, Inc. (TMI) did a job for one of the world’s largest privately held milling companies. In Houston, Texas, this project was to clean and paint seven stories of a mill stairwell, including the ceilings, walls, and steps.

 TMI began by cleaning all surfaces to prepare for the new paint coating adhesion. This included painting walls and doors, diamond plate floor, landings, stair treads, and the staircases’ underside. All bare steel was primed, and we applied two coats of paint coating to all the concrete and metal surfaces.

 The result is a clean, bright stairwell with no corrosion or loose and flaking paint. Sandy, the plant manager, said, “It is looking very nice!”
