Kerry Ingredients, Rochester, MN

Kerry Ingredients in Rochester, Minnesota expanded their production and requested TMI Coatings to seal the cyclone/floor juncture to reduce the risk of water seeping into the rooms below.  When the General Contractor installed the cyclones there was a gap at the concrete floor/cyclone juncture.  TMI abraded the concrete and stainless steel surfaces to ensure adhesion of the TMI elastomer. TMI then sealed the juncture with a trowel grade elastomer sealant that will expand and contract and is suitable for the 160°F environment.  We then coated approximately 4” onto the stainless and over the gap and onto the floor approximately 4” for a watertight seal.  All work was completed in a neat and professional manner.
