Prior to TMI Coatings beginning work, the owner is asked to remove belts and hoses and reinstall upon completion. Owner to identify any sensitive equipment that needs to be poly wrapped or covered to protect, remove and replace control knobs on consoles, remove plaques, roller guards, etc.

TMI to dry ice blast, grind with hand-held grinders, wire clean as necessary to remove any loose, flaking paint, debris and foreign matter.  All accessible surfaces will be abraded.  Prime and top coat with an industrial enamel.

TMI recently completed preparation and coating of two large machines at WestRock including structural steel, cross members, ductwork, dust collector and supports totaling 5,500 sq. ft. Machine components were prepped and degreased prior to coating with a Sherwin Williams industrial enamel primer and top coat. The coating system reduces corrosion, as well as brightening up the area to increase safety. Brian Ronayne said, “TMI worked diligently to complete the project in our time line. Both machines turned out great & management is happy.”
