One of the world’s largest food companies hired TMI Coatings to waterproof the floor and walls of two electrical vaults.

One of the world’s largest food companies hired TMI Coatings to waterproof the floor and walls of two electrical vaults located outdoors. Each vault was approximately 10’ long x 10’ wide x 10’ deep.

TMI removed standing water and performed lock out/tag out of all electrical components/machinery/gears before starting work. TMI sandblasted the interior floor and wall surfaces to clean the concrete. TMI identified potential areas where water infiltration was occurring and used epoxy injection to restore the structural integrity of the vaults. Epoxy injection seals cracks to prevent moisture entry. TMI then applied a waterproofing membrane to all surfaces. Concrete bug holes and eroded areas were filled prior to the application of the two coats of coating.

The Lead Building Engineer stated, “I appreciate the phone call to check in on the project. Everything went well and I think we are 100% concluded right now. Very happy with the process and the program so we can move on. Greatly appreciate it.”
