TMI Coatings crew members poly covered items not to be coated and utilized rubber sheets to protect galvanized tank supports and other items from over blasting. TMI sandblasted all new piping before applying two coats of an epoxy primer/intermediate coat. The top coat consisted of a high solids polyurethane enamel. All paint was applied by brush and roller only to reduce overspray on adjacent surfaces. The project site contact, Mike Hutton, said “Everything went well. We’re happy. Men worked safely”. TMI was required to be certified by ISNetworld.
